Il nuovo ICQ sbarca anche su Linux con un'app open source

In un panorama già affollato da app del calibro di WhatsApp, Skype, Telegram e Facebook Messenger c'è chi come ICQ cerca di fornire un'ulteriore alternativa. In verità ICQ esiste da molto prima delle app ad oggi più usate, ma è caduta poi in disuso; negli ultimi mesi si è totalmente rinnovata (11 milioni mensili di utenti dichiarati) sbarcando anche su Linux.

Abbiamo più volte parlato delle feature che la nuova ICQ ha dedicato ai dispositivi mobile, comunque disponibile già da tempo per Windows ed OS X. Adesso la maggior parte delle funzioni arrivano anche su Linux come sticker, chat di gruppo, messaggi vocali (anche con text-to-speech), cronologia e l'interessante possibilità di condividere allegati fino a 4 GB.
