MINIX è uno di quei marchi che si è ritagliato una certa popolarità tra i produttori di mini PC low cost. Tra i suoi modelli più famosi c'è Il NEO Z83-4 che abbiamo anche avuto modo di provare. Proprio di questo dispositivo ne arriva una nuova variante: il MINIX NEO Z83-4 Pro.

La scheda tecnica resta invariata fatto salvo per la CPU che da un Intel Atom X5-Z8300 passa ad un X5-Z8350.  Nella versione 4 Pro c'è poi un comodo attacco VESA, facilmente sfruttabile viste le dimensioni del dispositivo, oltre che Windows 10 Pro, al posto della versione Home.

Peccato che resti il grosso limite dei 32 GB di spazio di archiviazione. Il tutto però costa solo 20€ in più rispetto alla precedente al MINIX NEO Z83-4 liscio, per un totale di 199€. In verità chi non vuole attendere le prime prove sul campo lo trova già sugli store cinesi a prezzo un po' scontato; su GearBest ad esempio viene proposto a circa 180€.
