Nicola Ligas

Track Your Activities with Runtastic & UP® by Jawbone

Fitness activities tracked with the Runtastic app now sync with UP® by Jawbone

LINZ, Austria, September 24, 2015 – Beginning today, UP® by Jawbone users can sync their fitness data from the popular Runtastic app within the UP app. UP is a unique system, consisting of the popular UP activity trackers and advanced software and data, which helps you understand how you sleep, move and eat so you can make choices to live better. The UP system features advanced algorithms, an award-winning app, and partner integrations that work together to help you learn more about yourself and live better. “By integrating with the Runtastic app – one of the most popular apps of its kind – we’re giving the UP community another great way to personalize their activity-tracking experience,” said Travis Bogard, vice president of product management and strategy at Jawbone. “The Runtastic community can now easily share their activity and progress in the UP app, which will then give further personalized insights and guidance – such as staying hydrated post- workout, or matching last week’s achievements.”

New Member of the App Gallery for UP Users

The Runtastic app tracks fitness activities and provides users with information on distance, calories burned, speed and more. With the update to Runtastic 6.3, all data tracked with the Runtastic app is now displayed in the UP App’s newsfeed for the users who have connected to Runtastic. Once connected, all fitness activities from the Runtastic app are synced automatically. This means users receive even more detailed stats and values on their quest to reach their fitness goals. The more you know about your daily habits, the easier it is to adapt your behavior to the life you want to lead.

“Our team has enjoyed collaborating with Jawbone, as it’s always great for dynamic, talented teams to come together, learn from one another and create exceptional products and user experiences,” said Florian Gschwandtner, CEO and co-founder of Runtastic. “We are working hard to pave the way towards a more active and healthier lifestyle.”
